The landmark ceremony, held on-site at Nanny Cay, marked the beginning of construction on a project that will transform the marina into one of the most advanced and versatile facilities in the entire Caribbean. The expansion includes 112 brand-new berths, an enormous custom-built Marine Travelift capable of handling the new generation of 60–80-foot catamarans, expanded boatyard space, and upgraded visitor amenities designed to rival the world’s finest resort marinas. Government officials, industry leaders, and local dignitaries gathered to celebrate this milestone moment — one that signals both confidence in the BVI’s maritime future and recognition of Nanny Cay’s crucial role in it.
