Sanlorenzo Articles
Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo has unveiled its second in-build superyacht, Virtuosity, from its flagship 74Steel line. Once launched, the feature-filled Virtuosity promises to stamp its prominence as the shipyard’s largest build to date. Spanning an impressive 73 metres, this superyacht is a follow-up to the first 74Steel superyacht, the Silver Fox. The craft, designed by Zuccon International Project, saw launch in October of last year. Virtuosity will share similar infrastructural elements, such as the engineered platform and diesel-electric configuration pioneered by its predecessor. Yet, Virtuosity leaps one step ahead on the innovation scale, introducing features ’never seen before on a superyacht,’ according to the yard. Some of its outstanding characteristics include a living banyan tree growing between decks, a submerged aquarium integrated into the hull, and a vast 230-square-metre ‘Ocean Resort.’
The splendid 32.2-meter Sanlorenzo SL106 motor yacht Piacere III now sails under a new owner. This transpired via a deal between Gabriele Bacci of Sanlorenzo S.p.A., representing the seller, and Stratos Korais of Atalanta Marine S.A., who introduced the buyer. The notable Alessandro D’Este and Riccardo Piasenti of International Yachts Srl also played a significant role in the transaction.
Crafted in the prominent Italian shipyard, and delivered in 2019, Piacere III boasts construction in GRP to a full design by the renowned Italian designer Francesco Paszkowski Design. The yacht is one of 21 vessels delivered to date from Sanlorenzo’s illustrious SL106 line that reveals naval architecture developed in-house.
