The game plan was introduced by Vienna Eleuteri, the visionary behind Water Revolution Foundation, who championed the ‘3R’ model for sustainability.

‘Reduce, Remove, Restore’ - the 3R model sets clear goals. The ‘reduce’ element aims at minimizing the negative impacts across all stages of a yacht’s life, such as improving on-board system efficiencies and utilizing low-emission power methods. ‘Remove’ involves embracing bio-based build materials and biofuels. ‘Restore’ calls for active investments in ecosystem restoration to achieve net-zero outcomes, an imperative upshot of which is blue carbon development throughout marine environments.
