In a breezy blend of nostalgia and ambition, the Royal Western Yacht Club invites sailing enthusiasts to partake in a celebration of a century. Recreating the original Fastnet race of 1925, the flotilla will trace the eastern path through the forts and perform a stately rotation around the Isle of Wight.

Marking the centenary of this legendary race, the club welcomes entries for this historic re-run. Notably, this will be only the second time that yachts have embarked on the original Fastnet Racecourse. The lap of honour setting out from Ryde Bank, heading due East out of the Solent and culminating in the same location as its namesake in 1925 - Plymouth Sound.
