Van der Valk Floats Out Magnificent 36m Custom Yacht Jangada

Van der Valk has floated out its latest grand creation, the custom 35.9-metre superyacht Jangada. This recent launch stemmed from its Waalwijk facilities and will hit the Mediterranean waves with sea trials scheduled to commence in the near future. This majestic vessel has been crafted for a loyal client of the Dutch-based shipyard. The owner has a fondness for the Jangada brand, having previously owned a 25-metre and a 32-metre yacht both carrying the same name.

Hailing from the esteemed Dutch shipyard, Van der Valk’s groundbreaking superyacht, One, rewrites the rule-books of luxury sea travel. Following upon its highly anticipated delivery at the end of last year, One emerges from the shadows of its initial alias, Project 111.11, into a world breathlessly awaiting its charm.

With design inputs from experienced owners, the 34.1-metre brain-child of Guido de Groot and Carla Guilhem depicts a vivid portrait of luxury. Naturally lit cabins, curving lines, and daringly large windows merge to form an unexpected symphony, driving a departure from organic designs to embracing the raw beauty of imperfect geometric forms.

The four-decked yacht comfortably houses up to ten people across five staterooms, despite the initial request for a larger space. Among the decadently adorned rooms, a full-beam master suite stands out, complete with a walk-in wardrobe and a unique recessed oval feature.
