Royal Cork Yacht Club (RCYC) is based in Crosshaven, County Cork, Ireland. It is a Crosshaven club on Cork Harbour, carrying one of the oldest names in organised yachting.
Founded in 1720, it has become known for deep yachting history, Cork Week, harbour racing and a proper Irish welcome after a wet beat.
On the water, Cork Harbour offers protected racing and quick access to open water, with tide, breeze and rolling weather all in play.
Ashore, The club has the scale for major events, junior sailing, cruiser racing and visiting crews using the harbour.
For visiting sailors, Crosshaven is a natural sailing stop; visitors should check event dates and berth availability when the big fleets are in town.
