As the 2026 St Barths Bucket approaches, we delve into the increasingly larger yachts preparing to compete for the prestigious regatta title.

The eagerly awaited 2026 St Barths Bucket, scheduled for 12th-15th March 2026, promises to be a thrilling sailing race attracting a large array of yachts ready to vie for the top spot. This regatta, with its rich 31-year history, has confirmed the entrants, which notably include several massive sailboats.

Among these impressive entrants are Burger Boat’s 46.7-metre Ingot and 46-metre Nadan, Royal Huisman’s 42.1-metre Hanuman, Palmer Johnson’s 37.4-metre Temptation and Baltic Yachts’ 34.1-metre Liara. But the participating list goes beyond purely racing vessels. Indeed, the event also welcomes numerous social non-racing entries, adding further to its festive atmosphere.

Van der Graaf’s Atlantic, a replica of the 1905 transatlantic Kaiser’s Cup-winning yacht, is also a sight to behold. Then there’s Baltic Yachts’ Hetairos, an all-carbon ketch that remains one of the most desirable sailing superyachts existing today. Her fusion of traditional aesthetics and cutting-edge hull construction make her an aesthetic and technical marvel.

Another competitor joining in 2026 is the 65.2m Aquarius from Royal Huisman, a new launch that has had the sailing world buzzing. She promises new levels of elegance and performance. Also participating is Adix, the flagship of the Spanish yard, which underwent a significant refit in 2019, and Perseus3 from Perini Navi, which beautifully combines classic comfort with modern sailing technology. The list continues with Vitters’ latest modern classic, the glossy black ketch Maximus.

Indeed, the St Barths Bucket Regatta never disappoints when it comes to presenting an impressive and diverse line-up of large yachts, blending veteran favourites with enthusiastic newcomers. Their common goal: to sail away with that coveted regatta title, as another chapter is added to the illustrious history of this grand sailing event.
