“The high-velocity thrill of sailing is heading to the Italian coast as Cape 31 Mediterranean Circuit gears up for its much-awaited fourth round in the charming city of Imperia. Taking place from 18 to 20 July, the competition is hosted by the renowned Porto Maurizio Yacht Club.

With just two more events left in the 2025 circuit, the pursuit for the prestigious race circuit champion title has elevated to fever pitch, and this round could well prove to be the game-changer. With 16 contesting teams from 13 nations, the pressure and anticipation are palpable.

As the contest stands, ‘Give Me Five’ has taken the lead in both the overall and Corinthian/1-Pro season standings, displaying an impressive succession of stellar performances. ‘Shotgunn,’ holding the second position, is another force to reckon with, and ‘Adrenaline,’ sitting third, has proven to be another strong competitor. The rivalry rippling throughout the fleet is fierce.

Imperia is anticipated to roll out a varied mix of conditions, spicing up the competition. Light and tactical racing is expected to set the tone for Friday, while by the time Sunday swings around, the winds might gear up for a full-throttle spectacular. The unique geography and local intricacies of Imperia present an invigorating challenge for the international fleet.

This is the final round in mainland Europe before the fleet sails for the shores of Palma de Mallorca for Round 5, which doubles as the stage for the Cape 31 European Championship. Imperia thus presents an exquisite battleground for the teams to fight for momentum, leaderboard position and bragging rights over this exhilarating 3-day tournament.”
