Just under a month before the bold regatta of the 2026 52 SUPER SERIES season thrusts its sails into action, three new teams are preparing to join the fray. The legendary Bay of Palma at Puerto Portals will host and witness teams, representing 11 nations, competing and battling the waves for the illustrious Puerto Portals 52 SUPER SERIES Sailing Week.

Joakim Sundberg, a young Swedish entrepreneur, represents a wave of newcomers who are comparatively green in the realm of grand prix racing. With barely two years of sailing experience, the aspiring sailor shares the same, sky-high ambition as Heerema: To climb to the crests of the SUPER SERIES fleet within the next few years. These fresh faces, despite harbouring contrasting skills and experiences, come together on a common horizon — to carve their identity on the challenging canvas of the 52 SUPER SERIES season.
