Bilgin Yachts Unveils Tamasha, The Pioneering Model of the Bilgin 170 Series: A Maritime Triumph
In a glamorous display of maritime excellence, Bilgin Yachts, the renowned Turkish shipyard, has unveiled the first ship in its Bilgin 170 series, deemed Tamasha. A collaborative blueprint by Unique Yacht Design and Hot Lab, Tamasha’s design draws inspiration from the Bilgin 163 series, with a significant model being the 50-meter Eternal Spark launched last year.
Following the launch, Tamasha was transported to the West Istanbul Marina for the final outfitting processes. The event, beyond being a mere launch, marked a proud milestone for the Bilgin family and represented the commencement of Tamasha’s legacy. Tamasha’s launch epitomised the grace, grandeur, and the iterative passion and diligence of the Bilgin team.
Tamasha can cater up to 12 guests and nine crew members, with the owner’s cabin situated on the bridge deck. During the design course, the principal aim was to better the 50-meter models by achieving a more athletic and masculine look while seamlessly integrating the design to provide customers with the opportunity to utilise both open and enclosed spaces under 500 gross tons. This design integration for practicality and aesthetics has resulted in a yacht that truly stands out from the crowd.
According to maritime industry tracker BOATPro, a dozen other yachts, including three Bilgin 173s and three Bilgin 170s, are in production at the Turkish shipyard. This comes after the interior reveal of Camila, the second Bilgin 163, before her debut at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show.
