Marking a historical moment in Turkish yacht building, Turquoise Yachts introduces M/Y Angelique, the largest yacht ever built in the country.

Turkey’s illustrious shipbuilding name, Turquoise Yachts, has unveiled the crown jewel in the country’s yacht-building history. Introducing M/Y Angelique, an 87-metre behemoth shattering records as the largest yacht ever constructed in Turkey, setting a new course for the nation’s naval achievements. The superyacht marks the pinnacle of a 17-year collaboration between Turquoise and H2 Yacht Design, a partnership responsible for 12 stellar projects. “Vento is a remarkable achievement,” expresses Burak Akgül, CEO of Turquoise Yachts, “reflecting the collective expertise, dedication and passion applied to designing, engineering and crafting yachts at Turquoise.”

The interior design further impressively displays rich Art Deco influence. Jonny Horsfield, founder of H2, explains how the design, initially inspired by the 77m Go, another Turquoise and H2 collaboration, was morphed into something uniquely suited to the tastes and lifestyle of the owner, featuring blue accents throughout, deluxe guest accommodation and a private wellness suite.

The triumphant project is the result of intense cooperation between Turquoise Yachts, H2 Yacht Design and the owner’s team, with Occam Marine providing owner’s representation. Co-founder of Occam Marine, Giles Frankal, applauds the unison, attributing the success to “transparency, shared commitment to excellence, and a genuine spirit of partnership.” So it is, the M/Y Angelique becomes the grand testament to what can be achieved when a shipyard and owner’s team work in harmonious synchrony. As the future unfolds, it’s certain that the world will be watching what leaps of nautical glory come next from the Turquoise Yachts and H2 Yacht Design collaboration.
