A notable event at boot Düsseldorf 2026 was the announcement by British builder Sunseeker of the sale of the inaugural unit of their Sunseeker 134 yacht model.

Sailing in with noteworthy news from boot Düsseldorf 2026, British builder Sunseeker seized the platform to announce the first-ever sale of their sparkling new Sunseeker 134 yacht model. The mammoth 40.5-metre marvel has found an owner in America and is all set to make waves in 2027.

Sneaking a peek at Sunseeker’s renewed Superyacht Range, the Sunseeker 134 was initially presented to the world at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival. Aiming to transcend the bar set by its original concept designs, this model showcases a revamp in design, both in technicality and experience. Credited as a ‘bold step forward’ in the luxury marine industry, it represents Sunseeker’s revamped superyacht ethos.

An enhancement to the exterior living spaces across the aft cockpit, upper deck, and flybridge is also noteworthy. These spaces are distinctly designable with add-on features like a spa tub, extended hardtop, and a flybridge helm station. Further amplifying the yacht’s social spaces and solidifying its connection with the sea is the significantly extended beach club and swim platform.

On the inside, the 134 unit was created in collaboration with Design Unlimited. This collaboration grants owners the freedom to design their own yacht with bespoke materials, finishes, and details. The interiors, bathed in natural light thanks to expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, showcase a warm neutral colour palette. The accommodation is spacious enough for a 10-person party and a nine-member crew.

Propelling the Sunseeker 134 are twin MTU engines, capable of reaching top speeds of up to 20 knots and covering a range of more than 1,200 nautical miles at 10 knots. The engineering sophistication and enhanced stabilization systems promise serene cruising. Key numbers include a 7.9-metre beam and a draught of 2.4 metres.

This sale announcement is coupled with the news of Andrea Frabetti stepping down as CEO and board director recently. Currently, Sunseeker has 31 yachts that are either on order or under construction. The Sunseeker 134 yacht, a testament to style, luxury, and engineering wanderlust, is all set to redefine the high-end yachting experience.
