Newly Arrived Amels 80 Yacht Finds a Buyer Quickly, Demonstrating Continued Demand for the Limited Editions Series

Demand for Damen Yachting’s Amels 80 Limited Editions range yachts remains high, with the fifth unit scooped up briskly after docking at their Vlissingen yard this January. The sale, effected in strong collaboration with brokerage firm Burgess, underlines the sustained interest in the Amels 80 design. A total of five Amels 80 yachts are currently under construction, as per BOATPro data.

Burgess is supervising the build for the buyer through its in-house team. This marks the third Amels 80 the brokerage firm has facilitated for its clients. Jan van Hogerwou, commercial executive at Damen Yachting, stated that the deal ‘speaks to the enduring appeal of the Amels Limited Editions approach.’ This approach merges a tried-and-true design platform with the liberty to tailor a yacht per the owner’s vision while enjoying the yard’s dependable build quality and delivery record.

The design champions space, openness, and a strong connection to the sea. The yacht’s 200-square-metre sun deck is the most spacious in its class, allowing for various relaxation and entertainment zones. A three-sided open beach club bolsters the connection to the water. The vessel also boasts a private owner’s deck, a 6.5-metre glass-bottom swimming pool, ample wellness facilities including a gym, hammam and sauna, and panoramic guest accommodation on the main deck.
