Breathing new life into Greek sailing, the Yacht Club of Greece ushers in an exciting new era with the arrival of six RS21 keelboats.

The Yacht Club of Greece is entering a thrilling chapter, announcing the addition of six RS21 keelboats to its rapidly growing fleet. It’s the first club-owned fleet of RS21s in Greece, injecting a new level of competitiveness and dynamism into Greek sailing. This shiny fleet of boats is set to enhance the Club’s mature sailing offerings and pave the way for a hopscotch of activity on the Aegean Sea.

Investments like these make the waters more inviting, bringing modern, structured training programmes and innovative, engaging racing events within reach of members and visitors. That’s not all - these new boats are set to bring fresh experiences to sailors, welcoming individuals of all levels to embrace the winds and waves. The RS21 was key to realising this vision. Its modern, high-performance design ensured its selection as a versatile sailboat, adept at competitive club racing, charter use, and learn-to-sail programmes.

Michiel Geerling, Head of Commercial at RS Sailing, shared his exhilaration, ‘I’m excited to see the first RS21 fleet arrive in Greece. At RS Sailing, we’re all about participation, so establishing a new fleet in new waters - especially the first club fleet in the country - is a significant moment.’ RS Sailing continues to anticipate the new fleet’s role in training and racing while also looking forward to welcoming Greek teams at future European and International events. Sailors, start your engines - an exhilarating wave of sailing activity is surging on the Saronic Gulf.
