49-metre Amel's Yacht Vibrance Delighted with a New Owner in a Deal Involving Top Brokers
A high-profile transaction at sea has seen the premium 49.3-metre Amels motor yacht Vibrance switch homes. The deal involved multiple significant players, including Paul Cullen and James Lloyd of Edmiston representing the seller, while the buyer was introduced by Henry Smith of Cecil Wright. Josh Gulbranson of Fraser also played a pivotal role as a joint central agent. The luxury motor yacht’s selling point did not just revolve around its elegant exterior styling and interior design, undertaken by the talented hands of Donald Starkey. Vibrance was built with a robust steel and aluminium structure by the renowned Dutch yard, Amels, and initially made her sailing debut in 2004. She has since undergone major refurbishments, most notably in 2019, that took her aesthetic and functional appeal several notches up. The revamp included a full repaint, machinery and electronics upgrades, along with a 20-year survey completed in 2024. The yacht boasts a plush accommodation setup for up to 12 guests, divided between five cabins. The luxurious layout houses a main deck master suite with a private deck, a VIP suite, a double cabin, and two twins with Pullman berths. All cabins come with complete entertainment centres, television screens, and en-suite bathroom facilities. In addition, Vibrance can also accommodate 11 crew members across six cabins. The expansive saloon offers comfortable seating on sofas and upholstered armchairs, accompanying coffee tables and a stylish bar. An adjacent dining area with formal seating for 12 guests ensures a private, gourmet dining experience on prime nights. A sky lounge and outdoor dining area further enrich the living experience aboard Vibrance while the exterior impresses with ample lounging options and a beach-club-style swim platform. One notable highpoint is an extensive sundeck featuring built-in seating areas, a dining table, sun loungers, bar and a Jacuzzi all protected under a hardtop providing shade. Powered by 1,057hp twin MTU engines, Vibrance can achieve a top speed of 14.8 knots. The LR-classed, 659GT yacht offers a cruising speed of 12.5 knots with an extended range of 4,000 nautical miles. In the end, she was sold after managing to charm the buyers with her pristine condition and luxury features, to the tune of $16,900,000.
