Sarah Diggle Whitlock's fascinating yachting journey and West Nautical's incessant success capture the essence of maritime adventures and entrepreneurship.

Sarah Diggle Whitlock, a seasoned sea veteran currently working as the ‘Captain’s and Head of Department (HODs) Specialist’ at West Nautical, has an extraordinary tale to tell. Rife with encounters from swimming with great white sharks to influencing superyacht careers, Sarah’s voyage into the maritime world is far from typical.

Exhibiting a flair for the creative and sociable from a young age, Sarah soon found herself intrigued by the world’s mysteries and a desire to protect its wildlife. After a budding membership with Greenpeace at a tender age, she took to traversing the globe, picking up eclectic jobs and experiences along the way.

Sarah started as a chief stewardess, sailing the seas aboard yachts and twice circumnavigating the globe, a childhood dream soon turned reality. After a decade of life aboard ships, she moved ashore, choosing to settle in the South of France. Yet, continuing to contribute to the superyacht sector for another 15 years.

In her current role at West Nautical, Sarah engages in the daily task of linking captains and HODs with exceptional yacht crew candidates. With a knack for thorough communication, she finds joy in helping captaining personnel and assisting the crew with crafting compelling industry CVs.

In the meantime, West Nautical has been making news for the successful sale of their striking, luxurious 28-metre Sunseeker 95, NEW EDGE. Listed at €5,400,000 EX VAT, Geoff Moore from West Nautical and David Westwood from TWW Yachts teamed up to ensure a smooth transaction to the satisfaction of their respective clients. Impeccably maintained with a strong charter pedigree, the yacht is all set to embark on a new voyage with its proud new owner.
