The Ride of a Titan: Captivating Revamp of the 55m Alia Superyacht Al Waab

The splendid Alia superyacht Al Waab, measuring 54.9 metres, reveals itself in a brand-new avatar, following an extensive overhaul at the Endema Shipyard in the picturesque city of Antalya, Turkey. The refurbishment, encompassing thorough technical servicing and a revamp of its exterior and interior features, was initiated last October and had reached fruition this month.

Expressing satisfaction about the stupendous transformation undertaken by the chosen Shipyard, Al Waab’s commander intimated his appreciation for the professionalism and consistent dedication of the entire team at Endema. Their efforts were fundamental in overhauling the spectacular superyacht, establishing the groundwork for a promising long-term alliance.

The refit program also witnessed an exhaustive revamp of the superyacht’s windlass and an upgrade of the subaquatic illumination. In 2021, its ‘uniform design’ and the captivating elegance of her interiors were substantial in securing two wins at the internationally recognised Boat International Design & Innovation Awards along with a Judges Commendation at the 2022 World Superyacht Awards.

The layout of Al Waab, designed meticulously by Vripack, includes a comprehensive range of interior spaces. Find charm in a cosy breakfast nook adjacent to the central parlour and the tastefully crafted gym, ready to keep the seafarers fit even while being aboard. The Vripack-designed layout further boosts its splendour with a three-deck staircase fashioned out of shimmering, gold-studded acrylic. According to the yard, Al Waab now offers up to 42 per cent increased exterior space, allowing it to hold its own against other yachts in its size class.

Revamped, refurbished and invigorated, the Al Waab from Alia Yachts, stands mighty and tall as an epitome of sea luxury and cruising splendour.
