Founded in 1876 (formalized 1879), Real Club Náutico de Barcelona is one of Spain’s most historic and respected yacht clubs, positioned at the eastern end of Barcelona’s harbor on the Moll d’Espanya, s/n, 08039 Over 140 years, RCNB has cultivated a strong tradition in sail training, elite yacht racing, and social engagement in the city’s vibrant maritime culture.

Marina & Moorings

RCNB operates a well‑protected marina with approximately 175 private moorings and 20 visitor berths, accommodating vessels up to 40 m LOA with depths reaching 8 m The marina offers full amenities: water, electricity, 24‑hour security, Wi‑Fi to moorings, showers, and electricity connections

All facilities are recently upgraded, including renovated docking platforms, pump‑out services, and emergency VHF 9/77 & 112 access .

Clubhouse & Services

The modern clubhouse features a waterfront restaurant/bar with panoramic views of moored yachts—a public-faced venue that also hosts members . Inside, members benefit from private lounges, meeting rooms, a pleasant library, changing rooms, and an on-site fitness centre The club has ample parking, carpark facilities, and sauna services for members’ comfort

Sailing & Regattas

RCNB is a cornerstone of Mediterranean sailing, organising major regattas such as the Trofeo Conde de Godó, Trofeo Zegna, Menorca–Sant Joan Race, and the famed annual Puig Vela Clàssica—a prestigious classic yacht event As a founding member of the International Mediterranean Committee and various yacht associations, RCNB maintains strong international links

Training & Youth Development

Comprehensive sailing instruction is offered year-round through RCNB’s sailing school, serving all ages and levels—from beginner dinghies to competitive racing . The club supports junior sailors in Optimist, Laser, and classic classes, fostering future generations of competitive sailors.

Social & Cultural Life

RCNB hosts an active social calendar including member nights, festive dinners, lectures, and cultural events. Its prime harbor location makes it a key venue during Barcelona’s Nautical International Show and maritime festivals .
