Revolutionising Yacht Design: Sunseeker's New 40m Yacht Model Debuts at Cannes
During the Cannes Yachting Festival, the world of nautical craftsmanship was introduced to a new marvel – the Sunseeker 40M. This stunning vessel, the result of Sunseeker’s strategic collaboration with celebrated designer Francesco Paszkowski, sparkled amidst the grandeur of one of the world’s most prestigious yachting festivals.
This is the first time that Paszkowski, renowned for designs like the 72-metre Casino Royale by Tankoa Yachts and Sanlorenzo’s lauded Naia, has worked with British yard Sunseeker. His innovative design methods were clearly evident in the Sunseeker 40M, from the subtly curved superstructure to the dual-tone exterior and the tapered glazing.
The yacht’s standout features include an elongated aft deck, furnished with multiple lounges, and a forward plunge pool that ingeniously transforms into a seating area when emptied. Such features embed a unique sense of flexibility and spatial optimization in the yacht’s design.
The dynamic Sunseeker 40M is just one example of the brand’s busy schedule. According to data from BOATPro, Sunseeker currently has 15 projects either on order or under construction. In addition to the 40M model, Sunseeker has disclosed plans for a new 41.1-metre flagship model set for delivery in 2027. With their constant innovation in design, the prestigious brand is proving its commitment to raising industry standards and revolutionising the yachting experience.
