Experience the All-New Luxury at Sea with the Debut of Mitan, Numarine's Second Model from the 40MXP Series

Launched by the Turkish yard Numarine, the highly anticipated second hull from their flagship 40MXP series, Mitan, has finally made its grand debut at the thriving Palm Beach International Boat Show, currently taking Florida by storm. This new luxurious maritime creation was first delivered last October to its fortunate South American owners, who envisaged a family-centric yacht that perfectly balances cosy shared spaces and an ‘active use’ of exterior living.

This new creation can be seen as the ’natural evolution’ of the company’s immensely popular 37XP series, fusing an adventurous, long-range expedition spirit with a profound, inviting outdoor living aesthetic. The exterior design is credited to the celebrated Can Yalman, with naval architecture by the esteemed Umberto Tagliavini.

Mitan’s main saloon exudes an airy ambiance and is bathed in natural light. With plush sofa seating and a sizeable dining table, it is the perfect place for family gatherings. The yacht sleeps up to 12 guests in six lavish cabins, including a private owner’s suite on the upper deck. This suite opens directly onto the aft deck, offering sweeping views over the stern.

Mitan distinguishes herself with an expansive aft deck, facilitated by an extended hull and slightly forward-shifted saloon’s aft sliding doors. This outdoor oasis is replete with al fresco dining, a lounge that surrounds an aft pool with a glass transom, and a large bar. The yacht’s full eight-metre beam is utilised to the maximum with a hydraulic swim platform which connects to the pool, thus creating ultimate ‘beach club’ experience.

Covering technical aspects, Mitan boasts an impressive range of 6,000 nautical miles at eight knots, powered by twin MAN 800hp engines, with an optional Tier III-compliant 900hp configuration. Mitan’s elongated sundeck is equally captivating, fitted with additional al fresco dining, sofa seating, a bar and a grill for an exemplary experience of luxury at sea.

Mitan’s sister ship and third unit of the 40MXP series is already in construction, with delivery scheduled for later this year, demonstrating the popularity and demand for this luxurious yacht series.
