Crafted for Long Journeys: Dutch Yacht Builder Unveils Their Steel Masterpiece, The Boarncruiser Ocean 53 Sport

With more than half a century of experience in crafting steel boats, Boarnstream Yachting introduces the Boarncruiser Ocean 53 Sport to the boating enthusiasts at the Düsseldorf Boat Show.

Boarnstream Yachting graces the Düsseldorf Boat Show with its most recent steel marvel, the Boarncruiser Ocean 53 Sport. A fine mix of toughness and extravagance, this elegant yacht is the result of the builder’s 60 years of proficiency with steel boats.

The motor yacht underpins a semi-displacement hull, which utilises a rounded bilge for enhanced comfort and efficiency. The Ocean 53 Coupé and Ocean 53 Flybridge models are standard and with twin Volvo Penta D4-175s. However, in a riveting update, the new ‘Sport’ model benefits from twin Cummins QSB 6.7L engines which offer a horsepower range of 305-480 apiece.

Boasting of a twin helm with a skipper’s side door and a port dinette, the deck layouts have been designed smartly. Furthermore, the lower deck features a full-beam owner’s cabin, a forward VIP, a starboard bunk room, and two bathrooms, exemplifying practical luxury.

True to its semi-custom yacht nature, the Boarncruiser Ocean 53 Sport presents a plethora of customisation options to the discerning sailor. With fixed hull and superstructure, virtually any other aspect, including interior layouts, materials and technical components, can be tailored according to a seafarer’s preference.

While this fine piece of marine craftsmanship impresses with its blend of features, perhaps the pièce de résistance of this yacht is the perfect symbiosis it achieves between robustness and luxury, promising long-range cruises in elegant comfort.
