World Premiere of Greenline 42 at Dusseldorf: The Revolutionary Hybrid Yacht With Customizable Interiors and Solar Technology-Driven Efficiency

Dusseldorf Boat Show becomes the platform for the global launch of the Greenline 42, a versatile yacht with a semi-customizable design and eco-efficient solar-power operations.

The Dusseldorf Boat Show took centerstage with the global launch of the Greenline 42. Giving out preliminary details during the September Cannes event, the manufacturer was ready to reveal its most versatile model yet. Greenline 42, constructed in the company’s Slovenian shipyard, is praised not only for its varied semi-custom approach but also for its advanced use of solar energy for efficient cruising.

The semi-custom approach of the new yacht allows one to modify the cabins, bathrooms, furniture, and appliances to a much greater extent than any previous Greenline model. Even the standard model comes with myriad useful options. For instance, the aft cockpit can be customized with either a couple of trendy facing benches fronting a glass balustrade; or a deck devoid of any fittings which transpires into a commodious space for any kind of furniture or application you prefer.

Inside the yacht, the saloon stuns with its port galley aft packed with a hinge-up window, sliding doors, and a roomy L-shaped dinette opposite the single helm further upfront. Although the elevated bow height could potentially restrict the forward view from the saloon benches, it ensures ample headroom in the well-lit and commodious owner’s cabin in the bow and a twin guest cabin further aft. Performance-wise, twin Yanmar 4LV-250 diesels on straight shafts can propel the sophisticated super displacement hull to a swift top end of 25 knots.

But the true highlight of Greenline 42 is its focus on smoothness, stability, and efficiency. The yacht comes equipped with a 4.3kW solar array on the massive flared roof structure and a Greenline H-Drive 6G system for silent electric manoeuvring, asserting itself as a smart choice for modern, eco-conscious sailors.
