Slovenian firm Greenline makes a splash at Dusseldorf with the versatile and energy-efficient Greenline 42, offering semi-custom features and cutting-edge solar power technology.

The Greenline 42, unveiled at the Düsseldorf Boat Show, marks a new era in semi-custom boating design, offering innovative solar power technology for high-efficiency cruising. This innovative model from Slovenia’s Greenline shipyard exudes versatility with a dizzying array of customisable options that give future owners the freedom to design their dream vessel. Amidst these options, the base model itself comes festooned with a plethora of amenities which further enhance the vessel’s appeal.

The boat’s aesthetic allure is equally praiseworthy. Graceful windows at the aft end of the superstructure, molded bulwark cut-outs, and low-level glazing present a sleek and modern silhouette. Further aesthetic delights include glass panels housed in the roof struts and an array of intricate angles in the hull, windows, and topsides that add a touch of contemporary flair.

As for its performance, the Greenline 42 comes equipped with twin Yanmar 4LV-250 diesels, enabling a top speed of 25 knots. However, it’s not all about high speed. Greenline’s focus on smoothness, stability, and optimised efficiency allows the installation of a 4.3kW solar array on the expansive roof structure, plus a Greenline H-Drive 6G system for silent electric maneuvering. All the above, combined with interior decadence and external charm, make the Greenline 42 a unique contender in the yachting world, redefining the landscape of versatile and sustainable cruising.
