Driven, Delta Marine's 46m Superyacht, Undergoes a Spectacular Interior Refit by Patrick Knowles Designs

Published: 02 Dec 2025
The 46m Delta Marine yacht, Driven, welcomes an exciting new era as Patrick Knowles Designs (PKD) steps in for an interior revamp. The creative reinvention will be influenced by the owner’s fascination with classic, sports, and exotic cars.

“Driven,” the 46m Delta Marine yacht, initially christened as ‘Gran Finale’, is undergoing a striking transformation. PKD, a cutting-edge American design studio, is the chief executor in this offering of artistry and industry. The yacht was delivered first in 2002, with the ship design, courtesy of Delta Marine’s in-house team in synergy with Jay Minor. They adorned it with an interior created by J.C. Espinosa, of Espinosa Yacht Design. Recently, after 22 years under one owner’s purview, it changed hands in a deal between Burgess and HMY.

Intriguingly, the yacht will boast plenty of automotive-inspired elements. For instance, the main saloon is set to feature a ‘Bugatti Bar,’ stylishly accented with an illuminated crystallo stone bartop and strategically lit alligator hides. High-quality leathers procured from renowned suppliers in the automotive industry will be skillfully incorporated into the furniture, cabinetry, and detailing. The master suite will also showcase these opulent touches, including stainless steel inlays gracefully encircling the bed.

The two VIP suites are not left out of the transformation. On entering the suite, guests are set to be treated with a magnificent rotating cylinder feature. This novelty piece will exhibit a luminous onyx backdrop, brilliantly contrasted with starlight panels, meticulously stitched leather, and stainless steel inlays.

However, such big projects are no novelty to PKD. Earlier this year, it basked in the glory of a successful interior refit of the 70.2-metre Lürssen superyacht, Starfire. The entire project reflected the ambiance of nature, providing a brighter, more welcoming overlay.

The unveiling of the new Driven is scheduled for early 2026, and the anticipation is already building to see the fusion of the onyx world of classic, sports, and exotic cars with the azure magnificence of yacht design.
