Oceanco, the Dutch yacht manufacturer, has proudly launched Y726, an impressive 111-metre superyacht, embracing spectacular design ambition and superior engineering techniques.

In a formidable display of maritime artistry, Dutch yacht manufacturer, Oceanco, announced the launch of its latest masterpiece, the 111-metre superyacht, Y726. This is not just any launch; it’s a testimony to design ambition, robust engineering, and collaboration. The Y726 promises to set new standards in the luxury maritime sector and transform how we perceive grandeur at sea.

Commissioned in 2022 by an experienced and returning client, the yacht rose from the depths of Oceanco’s Alblasserdam facilities. It flaunts a 16-metre wide beam and a gross tonnage of 4,550GT, earning the title as one of the largest yachts by volume ever constructed by the shipyard. The yacht’s exterior, the creation of world-renowned designer Espen Øino, is complemented by an elegant, family-oriented interior from Mark Berryman. The intricacies of naval architecture have been meticulously planned and executed by the Lateral Naval Architects, in tandem with Oceanco’s in-house team.

The yacht’s beach club comes equipped with a bar that ushers directly onto the swimming platform, adding a cheerful wink to the yacht’s luxurious exterior. The Y726 was last seen outfitted at Oceanco’s Alblasserdam facilities in December 2023, wrapped in artwork by Rotterdam-based graffiti artist I AM EELCO.

Y726 reflects what is achievable when a shared vision is pursued by a team with aligned intentions and determined execution. Oceanco’s Y726 exemplifies an incredible feat of engineering prowess. As Lee Archer, programme director at Lateral, aptly described: ‘Y726 stands as a testament not only to engineering enabling design at the highest level but also to the power of collaboration as a catalyst for excellence.’
