This 50-meter vessel hit the water on 14th March 2026, perfectly adhering to the delivery schedule of June 2026. Built with an aluminium hull, this is the fourth product of Heesen’s 50-meter class series, pushing innovation further with enhanced hull efficiency and reduced transom depth. The efficiency of this marine marvel doesn’t stop here, Project Sophia has the distinction of being the first yacht of its kind under 500GT to comply with IMO Tier-III regulations. Frank Laupman, a seasoned architect known for his unique styles, designed Project Sophia’s remarkable exterior, boasting optimised, low-drag hull design and a streamlined, sporty profile. Inside, five luxurious cabins designed by Cristiano Gatto, offer ultra-modern comforts accompanied by a warm color palette giving it a homely touch. The notable features that make Project Sophia truly remarkable include a suave dining area on the bridge deck terrace and sundeck, a quaint pool housed on the main deck aft and a generous seating arrangement with loose furniture for a great outdoorsy, airy feel. Added to it are the custom elevated aft deck and the lofty tender garage that create spaces with multifunctionality and elegance. With its MTU 16V 4000 M65L engines, Project Sophia offers an impressive top speed of 23 knots and a seemingly endless range of 3100 nautical miles at 11 knots, making the voyages even more tranquil and enjoyable.
