Ground-breaking second hull in Heesen’s 'new class' of superyachts revealed - welcome aboard the Project Evita

Published: 26 Jan 2026
Dutch shipbuilding industry giant Heesen take another bold step in yacht engineering with the unveiling of their second 'high speed' superyacht, the Project Evita.

In an eventful turn of marine technology, the hull and superstructure of the second instalment in Heesen’s innovatively hewed ‘high-speed’ aluminium superyachts have been successfully conjoined. This paves the way for the grand arrival of Project Evita, the most colossal vessel ever spec-built by the Dutch titans of the shipbuilding industry. As per the projections, the well-appointed superyacht is set to be delivered in the third quarter of 2027.

However, what truly distinguishes Project Evita from the Santosha is a revitalised main deck aft - the social hub of the vessel. The design showcases a sprawling six square-metre infinity pool, which is flanked by inviting sunpads and complimented by a special lazarette for storing water toys. The sundeck features a segregated area divided into three zones equipped with sun loungers, a forward lounge, and fine al fresco dining under a solid hardtop bar.

This epitome of luxury has been designed to offer both seclusion and social interaction with over 780GT and 400 square metres of interior space. With the yacht’s visual harmony maintained by rich woods set against a nautical cream and blue palette, the interior resonates a classy vibe.

The yacht boasts ample accommodation for up to 12 guests, with six opulent cabins including a luxurious 60-square-metre master suite. Furthermore, the quarters have space to accommodate a 13-member crew comfortably. A futuristic central glass elevator connects all the decks together. With a transatlantic range of 3,900 nautical miles at 13 knots, Project Evita makes for a perfect companion on high sea adventures while also aligning with IMO Tier III standards.

The revelation of Project Evita marks a vibrant period for the Dutch shipyard, which currently has six yachts under construction. Project Evita follows in the wake of the 50-metre Project Grace, another spec-built vessel by Heesen that achieved the same construction milestone previously.
