From the green pastures of Southern Ireland, Govan Berridge, and David Coleman from Killaloe journey to the competition. Former Irish champion Barry McCartin is also tipped to make a thrilling return to this competitive fleet. All these participants are closely orbiting the coveted podium spots and the glory they hold.
The championship consists of ten adrenaline-fuelling races spread over five days under the keen oversight of PRO Sheela Lewis. A coaching session will also precede the competition on the 3rd of August. Competitors and spectators alike will be treated to a vibrant social programme in addition to the racing, thanks to the unrivalled hospitality of the Royal North of Ireland Yacht Club. This year’s event promises thrills, spills, and adventures for everyone fortunate enough to partake.
