An air of anticipation stirs the ocean at Marina Rubicón in Lanzarote as it braces to host the first iQFOiL International Games of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Cycle. This world-class sailing destination, renowned for its contrasting volcanic landscapes, perennial sunshine, and steady trade winds, will stage five days of intensely thrilling racing from January 28 to February 2. Echoing the buzz and spirit of its successful past iterations, this marks the third year that Marina Rubicón has partnered seamlessly with the iQFOiL Class to host stellar global events.

The upcoming iQFOiL Games in Lanzarote will see a cadre of distinguished athletes race against the wind. The men’s crew features eight competitors from the Paris 2024 Olympics, spotlighted by Kiran Badloe, the ex-Olympic champion. The lineup also boasts 2024 World Champion Nicolo Renna, European Champion Pawel Tarnowski, and U23 World Champion Finn Hawkins.
