The Polish shipyard, Sunreef Yachts, elevates the standard for eco-friendly travel with its latest innovation - the emission-free Sunreef 35M Eco series.

A silent revolution is stirring in the waters, and at the helm is Sunreef Yachts. The Polish shipyard is redefining luxury with an innovative nod toward sustainability in their latest release - the first unit of the Sunreef 35M Eco series. Sold to a client espoused by Y.CO in 2024, this sailing catamaran will make its debut in the charter market post-delivery. The model is a masterpiece of engineering, with its custom-built batteries, state-of-the-art electric engines, and solar panels seamlessly ensconced into the hull, superstructure, and Bimini. This ensures a graceful glide across the water’s surface leaving no trail of emissions in its wake. The interior is as breathtaking as the technology is impressive. Custom 3D wood and leather panels meet an eco-leather ceiling, setting the stage for indulgent French bouclĂ© fabric upholstery. At a generous 14.7-metre beam, the catamaran presents spacious interiors, housing a panoramic owner’s cabin on the main deck with its access to the bow terrace. A super king-size bed, a dedicated seating area, a walk-in dressing room, and a limestone-effect bathroom with a bathtub forge an oasis of luxury inside. Meanwhile, the guests aboard will find their abodes ensconced within the hulls. The flybridge emerges as the chosen space for communal gatherings boasting a plunge pool, an inviting lounge space, and a bar. The ‘Ocean Lounge’ aft deck further augments the relaxation quotient with sofa seating and access to an array of toys stored in an unseen garage. As of June 2024, the market has 31 units of this eco-friendly wave-maker on order or under construction, the largest being the Sunreef 43M Eco. Sunreef Yachts continues to etch its name in the annals of maritime history, with its first unit in the Sunreef 43M Eco series nearing completion, poised to become the world’s largest electric catamaran.
