Third Event of Melges 15 Winter Series see a Vigorous Participation of 94 Teams in Merritt Island

The sea is set to sparkle on February 22-23, 2025, with no less than 94 teams eager to outmanoeuvre one another at the third event of the Melges 15 Winter Series. The sailing spectacle unfolds at the newly christened Melges Watersports Center, nestled on Merritt Island, FL.

An exciting precursor to the event is a one-day clinic steered by Class Coach Paris Henken and Melges Watersports Director, RJ Porter. Behind these wavy competitions is an inspiring young talent, a 12-year-old damsel named Adi Lacroix who sails alongside her father, Josh.

In a testament to its rising fame, the Melges 15 was recently selected as the platform for the esteemed Royal Corinthian Yacht Club’s Endeavour Trophy due this October in Essex, UK. This invite-only sailing extravaganza is sure to assemble Europe’s crème de la crème of sailing.
