The Seventh Amels 60 Superyacht inches closer to its maiden voyage

A much-anticipated unit from the Amels 60 series is nearing completion and is set to start cutting waves.

The illustrious Amels 60 superyacht series will soon see its seventh vessel come alive. The Dutch shipyard Damen Yachting, known for its precision craftsmanship and remarkable construction expertise, is in the final stages of preparing this 60-metre marvel, having just sold the unit last month. Onlookers at the shipyard will bear witness to an extraordinary spectacle as the craft is set to embark on its initial journey, merely days away.

This superyacht boasts numerous plush amenities including a fully equipped dive centre, sophisticated ‘beach house’ interiors, gym, and sauna facilities. The designers from the British Studio, Harrison Eidsgaard have introduced bronze accents, stainless steel ornamentation, and natural oak details lending an unmistakably elegant and contemporary vibe to the superyacht. The firm, Moran Yacht & Ship confirmed that the improvements made on the second unit, Entourage, have also been incorporated into this latest behemoth teeming with luxury.

The Amels venture is showing no signs of slowing down, with nine additional yachts either on order or under construction. This includes the monumental Project Tanzanite, a 120-meter giant that is predicted to be the largest Dutch-built motor yacht globally upon its completion. As we mark the launch of this magnificent vessel, we are reminded of the sixth hull in the Amels 60 series, the 21.12, which continues to set the bars of luxury and design in the realm of superyachts.
