RMK Marine Breaks Ground with the Arctic 90, a Superyacht for the Extreme Adventurer
Unveiling a trailblazer in the shape of a superyacht, RMK Marine steps into an uncharted territory of marine design. Enter the Arctic 90, their latest revelation, a 90-metre vessel designed with the audacious sea explorer in mind. Engineered specifically for severe cold, this ironclad marvel heralds a new era of nautical exploration.
Built from ‘special steel’ and reinforced with an aluminium superstructure, the Arctic 90 promises unmatched stability even in the harshest of weather conditions. It’s a product of RMK Marine’s partnership with ER Yacht Design, a Canadian designed studio famed for their adventurous designs including the ER65, the yard’s flagship explorer. The Arctic 90’s exterior design, reminiscent of a vintage bi-colour palette, gives the vessel a retro aesthetic, distinct from its contemporaries.
The interior reflects the essence of snug practicality, realized with floor-to-ceiling glazing that naturally draws guests’ gaze to the panoramic vistas of the Antarctica or the jagged Meditteranean coastlines. The Arctic 90 is also built to Category B Ice Class and Polar Class 6 standards, exhibiting its impeccable resilience.
Breaking down the specifics, the Arctic 90 boasts a 14.5-metre beam, a draft of 4.5 metres, and a volume of under 5,000GT. RMK Marine continues its nautical fortnight by working on two other yachts - the ER65 and the 49.9-metre Aries, the latter being a collaboration with Design Unlimited and Hot Lab. For the affluent seafarer interested in taking this beauty home, Aries is currently on sale for a cool €31,500,000 with Ocean Independence.
